I've geomaxxed a decent amount in LatAm and this is directionally true. I would still say the LatAm is significantly better than the US with some caveats (where, your SMV, languages skills)

I don't think it has changed that much. Certain places like Medellín Colombia aren't as good but going to a second tier city is still pretty easly. It's just that the average "incel white dork" doesn't have the wherewithal to do this. I know places in Latin America that are still gems but only a very niche type of person could pull it off. It will be a very long time before LatAm is anywhere near as bad as the West. Like in 30 years.
