For those of you that have been overseas for long periods of time, did you feel lonely at all?

Im curious to hear from guys who traveled overseas anywhere and stayed for a while (like a few months for example) if you got lonely at all? I went to the DR last month and escortmaxxed and am going again this month. Im 23 and never had a gf. What I realized is overseas I will have so much access to women unlike in the states but because of the nature of traveling, I likely won't be able to meet/make any guy friends so my social life will just consist of being with women. For you guys that have been overseas, did it bother you at all having your social life consist of only being with women and not having any guy friends to hang out with?

It's not hard to meet people and chat for an hour or two if you get lonely. Of course, some guys will try to build trust and then take advantage of you, but it's a mistake to let paranoia of hustlers or aversion to them dissuade you from getting out and meeting people.

Social skills are social skills...the only fundamental difference between male friendship and dating is the sexual energy or lack thereof.

What annoys me is people deliberately choosing to be anti-social when solo traveling, and then hearing them insist that solo traveling is a waste because loneliness. Come on dude, the world is full of people who are interested in meeting foreigners and talking with them, but you won't encounter any of them laying in bed all day or walking about with a miserable depressed expression on your face.

Going beyond mere cope and embracing solitude and social aversion as an inherent part of your personality will bring you contentment, but it will also ensure your inability to attract women. Women love guys who play mysterious or hard to get, but they hate guys who are low-energy and unreactive to their flirtations.

but it would be cool to have friends with similar age and interests as me. almost impossible given my lifestyle of not being wageslave

I do jiu jitsu as I travel which helps. There's an instant camaraderie for those that do this sport, and helps meet people not solely focused on drinking/partying as many expats/foreigners do. I meet locals this way too.

Or I may do hiking trips via Facebook.

Don't make your life just about overseas women. It's a bit of a trap that can make guys lose focus of their purpose.

i like to make buddies with some local guys over some pick up sports or at the bar. makes you look more approachable to other locals and less like a target to sus actors around. pen pals or connections through gaming ect can also help.

You can always make new friends man, I enjoy meeting new people more because old friends get boring

How old are you? You are either millenial or delusional, just go hang out with your "friends" and see what happens when 1 girl comes along lol
gen z

of course every men is in competition, but there are plenty of women to share especially if you geomax as a westerner.

sad life you are going to have with this mentality

Nah I let the bp guide me and it has saved me from being fucked over, this just tells me you have never surpassed your friends nor have you hung out around an environment with girls/guys. Go to a house party and see how friends turn against eachother in gen z. Fighting for some ltb
