Ideally you’d want to be in Central/Sheung wan because all the nightlife is around there, but yeah it’ll all be 120$+ a night. Kowloon is okay but you’ll have to get taxi back from the island if you’re out late clubbing which will be pretty expensive. Probably try and look for hotels/guesthouses in Wanchai or Causeway Bay, should be around 50$ and the location is solid.
