Entering Thailand via land boarder crossing

Can you get a visa when entering via land boarder crossing? I know you can get one when touching down and extend it for an extra month, making it 90 days in total. I'm also aware that you can only enter Thailand by land twice in one year.

only one that’s closed is myanmar if i remember correctly

Because I plan on staying out there longer than 3 months.
