Can somebody give travel advice for Manila?

I want to try the easiest of all, Manila

- where to stay (BCG or Makati)
-where is the best night life for slaying non-prostitutes (also on week days, BCG or Makati or other area?)
-safety advice: how to avoid my phone being stolen/snatched (my geomaxxing trip would be over if my phone was stolen now and I would have to go back to Europe, have all my plane tickets on my phone also)
-food advice: good food places (Jollibee?)

I would recommend staying as central as possible because traffic is awful and even enthusiastic girls will sometimes be too busy to meet. this makes phils more expensive than pretty much anywhere else in southeast asia. its more expensive than korea sometimes. if you are central you might be able to get several dates a day.

My good Filipino friend in Japan offered me the same, to go screwing around in his home of Cavite. Apparently it's a total shithole but according to him "you stick with me and you're good bro". Japan was cool because you can experience a level of "hood life" with all the fun that comes along but almost none of the danger. Probably would get my reality shook in the Philippines if I went somewhere like that
