phuket used to be awesome when it was still a place for mongering boomers.

i was there 10 years ago and got to know a local girl from south thailand with a normal job.

she had a small apartment that she let me live in with her after i missed my flight.

she had a car that she drove me around in.

she gave me free happy end massages every evening.

when i left she asked me when i come back and i said probably in a year. she replied "i wait you one year".

good times.
