taking out the "would I rather" aspect and just treating this as an SMV comparison, it entirely depends on what kind of Indian. Light-skin Punjabi or superdark Dravidian? There's a huge difference here

20 years ago there was a german politician who said "Kinder statt Inder" (children instead of indians), which meant the Germans should rather reproduce than import indians for work. he got shamed for it back then already.

5'5 german due to the environment i will be born in

any job in germany is almost guaranteed to make me more than in india. the chance id get there is higher too. if i just rot at my parents in the meantime id have enough money to geomax and go somewhere to jbw.

the path to a nice life in that case is more attainable. even if i were a 6'1 indian the diceroll would most likely be to be born into some low caste family with little options for social mobility which is utterly brutal. in the advantageous case youd have more smv than the german but at what cost?
