Why do guys cope so much about height on dating apps?

To filter by height women need to pay, most don't pay, they just use dating apps without height filter
You can't easily see someone's height through pics (unless they are turbo manlet)
Most dating apps (if not all) don't require you to show height on your profile

and yes, I guess women can ask you once you have matched and are talking to her
but most guys that complain are not getting any matches at all, so height is clearly not the reason why they dont get good results

height is quite irrelevant for OLD imo it matters more IRL

I thank god for making me 6'5 at least this one thing less to worry about

but if you're like 5'10 + I don't think it's such a big deal

if you're 5'2-5'6 yeah not good

It's also very easy to see the height if you scroll past the first picture, which admittedly not every girl does

unless the guy is very short or very tall its hard to see height through a picture

most guys nor girls would not be able to tell if a guy is 5'9 or 6'0 through

in any case my point is the same, lots of guys say tinder doesnt work because they are short when you cant even see their height

By that I meant seeing what they put as their height on the profile. The text will be right there if they do anything besides swipe left/right on the first picture

yeah thats true, once you get a date its gonna be very hard if you are short
even hitting the gym for them wont do much in terms of IRL presence

If you see a women swiping (in the west) you will see height is basically the first thing they look at, so even without using the filters it’s basically a mental filter anyway, and most will assume if the height isn’t listed then the guy is short because every guy knows height is important now and will list it if he’s tall.

You can verify yourself by listing a fake height or just asking manlets their experience on dating apps
