last chance to legally weedmax in thailand:

"Ahead of a narcotics control board meeting at the end of the month, the Ministry of Public Health recommended returning cannabis to the Category 5 list of controlled substances. Category 5 substances include psychotropic mushrooms and opium.

If the board accepts the recommendation, the health ministry will issue further rules on the cultivation and use of cannabis plants to be approved by the cabinet and enforced by Jan. 1, 2025."

i’ll believe it when i see it

hopefully so however. don’t want normie weed obsessed canadians and americans going

it was fun tho. trying weed with thai girls for their first time lol

it's kinda insane they giving 5 years visa so easily after they had crackdown on all the fake education/cooking/muay thai/volunteer and visa runs

i’ll believe it when i see it
yea the thai government isn't exactly reliable or predictable.

hopefully so however. don’t want normie weed obsessed canadians and americans going
yes, that's the major downside of it.

indeed, i did that, too. it's actually a nice add-on for a chilled beach day, too bad that the only country in asia that has this will eliminate it now.

Good. Drugs outside of alcohol is for braindead losers

Have you ever heard one high iq person talk about how good weed is

It's always pot head wake and bake jobless losers saying muh it's safer than alcohol
I'd say they are on the same level. Alcohol is physical poison but can loosen up social situations. Cannabis is less of a physical poison but shuts your brain down and is mostly as bad as smoking for your health. It's good for relaxing and if you want to enhance some goyslop entertainment. I usually take a drag from a disposable vape before I go see a movie in theatre or watching porn.

reminder that prostitution is also "illegal" in thailand
that's true and it's kinda ridiculous.

but is it worth the gamble? let's take a look at what could happen theoretically:

Prostitution:
Anyone who associates with another person in a prostitution establishment for the purpose of prostitution will be imprisoned for up to 1 month and fined no more than 1,000 THB. Penalties increase after repeated offenses, and deportation and blacklisting from Thailand are also possible.

😐

Weed (which will be classified as category V substance in 2025):
Personal use (of category I, II and V substances, e.g. heroin, opium, methamphetamine, cocaine) is liable for a term of imprisonment not exceeding 1 year and/or a fine not exceeding THB20,000.

Possession for personal use (of category I, II and V substances) is liable for a term of imprisonment not exceeding 2 years and/or a fine not exceeding THB40,000.

😯

was weed ever serious in Thailand? i think it used to be quite easy to get, but cops would fuck you over with big bribes

When I went early last year they sold it on the street and had some storefronts. Also some coffee stands sold iced coffee with cannabis mixed in.

High iq does cocaine and ecstasy, interesting
indeed. also this is interesting: "IQ was significantly related to length of addiction career; the higher the IQ, the shorter the career." so it looks like high iq people are more likely to try drugs but less likely to stay on them than average people.

so i believe those breaindead losers that you were talking about (and that we all have seen hanging in the subway or on the ground in city centers) are mainly the low iq people who somehow got in contact with drugs at some point and never managed to get rid of them again.

i went to cafes in bangkok where they sold weed brownies infused with mushrooms

and you could order mushrooms, dmt, lsd, etc off of grab lol

i never did this of course!

If true I bet the shops will start slashing prices ahead of the ban, dumping their stock. Let's see: October 18th arrive in Hanoi, six weeks in Vietnam that's until the end of November, hop over to Thailand for December and January. Yep, it'll work out, and I'll get to enjoy the perfect weather of "winter" in northern Thailand.

Learned my lesson last year, don't travel anywhere in Thailand around New Years' Day. I got hella lucky and snagged the last seat available on the Khon Kaen to Bangkok route six days before it departed. All other days were booked solid on every single bus running the route. The train was packed like sardines even a week before the holiday. Check out this legroom situation, JFL.

bahahaha booze is the lamest fucking intoxicant in existence. Solitary drinking is nothing more than poisoning yourself. Only social drinking has any value.

As a heavy user, weed is a depersonalizer and a profound relaxant. My consciousness on THC exists in its own bubble, not in relation to anything or anyone else. Being under the influence makes me intensely averse to all but the most impersonal, non-verbal and minimalist human interactions...perfectly comfy in Thailand but not anywhere else in the world. One week ago I quit cold turkey after two months of all-day smoking in Michigan's forests. Zero harmful physical effects, zero withdrawal symptoms, and zero desire to take the habit up again until the time is right.

Pic is a shop in Lop Buri. Bangkok prices are double.

You sound like that guy on /trv/ who is always telling people about the horrors of burning season in Thailand. Truth is, the AQI usually hovers around 140, hazy for sure but nothing at all like China or India in winter, where AQI regularly tops 400. I was in Bangkok when a cold front passed through in late December, bringing temps down to 18 C. It was the talk of the city. The skies that morning were as stunningly clear and blue as I have ever seen in Asia. Temps that day topped out at 29 C, the coldest day of the year for Bangkok. Northern Thailand dropped as low as 11 C with highs reaching 25 C.

burning season is bad. especially back in winter 2022

going from the average aqi in bangkok being around 60 to in the mid 100s is more noticeable than chinese aqi where it’s more common in the low 100s

but neither compare to burning season in delhi

pic of me on a shuttle bus heading to my plane while leaving delhi. it’s so bad your eyes start itching

the haze in this picture isn’t from the lights lol. pure pollution

exactly my thoughts
white dirty hippie scumbags smoking weed ostentatiously absolutely everywhere was a real plague
but i have good memories smoking with girls in my huge luxurious apartment balcony on like 50th floor with stunning bangkok night cityview
then we fuck and sometimes when rooftop pool was still open we chill there (yeah sure baby ill take you to europe talk)
