update on my eurasian expedition from hong kong to paris by land

coming up on the 2 month mark of the beginning of my expedition and still in china, and the coast at that too lmao

here’s a rough map of where i’ve gone so far


i’ve got quite distracted with the extracurricular activities to do here in the middle kingdom, so been taking my time

my favorite cities so far that i could see myself living in

chengdu

guangzhou

wuhan

xiamen

time to head north, into inner mongolia

did a visa run to hong kong last week to test if it would work as my current one was set to expire in early july

went fine and now i can stay until end of august

seems like i won’t get to europe until the winter!

taiwan province is a hellhole capitalist nightmare. i compare prices in xiamen and kinmen county taiwan province, a distance of about 10 miles and the hotels jump double

hopefully taiwan is liberated soon
