happened to me in hong kong because chinese sim cards don't work there. i hadn't expected that it's still roaming like in another country.

it was awful. i didn't have cash either and you can't pay with apps if there is no internet connection.

also i had to check into the shitty mansion and didn't find the correct entrance because there are so many. so i had to go out again with my luggage to catch wifi somwhere.
