The actual scariest thing in Brazil isn’t the fucking animals or fucking piranhas or fucking whatever. It’s the locals. It must be the fucking locals. You seriously do not know what these fuckers will do, or what they will do to you. But middle class Brazilians are so sheltered, they think some stupid bullshit like piranhas or crocodiles are the most dangerous thing here.

…. Fucking what?

I have seen one of the favela street vendors deliver a hook to some gay dude (I do not know if he was gay, but he seemed like it) over Mentos during Carnival. People will follow you at Centro and bus terminals for a sizeable distance. Are they beggars or pickpockets? I do not fucking know. I just ran a short distance away.

But the scariest fucking thing happened to me when I was hiking in the Parque Estadual da Pedra Branca, at night, of course. Now, when I was hiking up this mountain, I did not see a single soul, and when I was hiking back down, I got a bit comfortable and started venting to myself out loud like a 21st Century Schizoid Man. Now, I blurted, “like something fucking else”, and at the apex of me saying “FUCKING”, I swore I fucking heard footsteps in the brush approaching me in the distance. It did not sound like an animal, at all. I froze up, shut off my camera light, and listened. That noise continued to shuffle through the trees. I swear in that moment, I saw a fucking silhouette of a person’s head and shoulders, something reminiscent of that Shadow Man from Under the Silver Lake, in the distance.

I proceeded to fucking haul ass on that trail, even about 30 meters from that location. I still heard what sounded like footsteps in the brush. At which I decided to keep running till I got a sizeable distance away. Slipping in the mud, falling and miraculously regaining my footwork somehow to keep my ass going. Past a point, those noises were gone. Maybe I was confusing an animal for human footsteps and seeing the visages of the plants and trees as something humanlike. I am just never hiking after sunset here again in fucking Brazil. Have some pictures and a vid of my hike during the sunset and into the darkness of that day.

Aren’t Chilean girls significantly darker on average or did they seem about the same to you?
Outside of Indigenous or Castizo girls? Not really. Most of them have the same swarthy look as most Meds do. Just stick to the Santiago and Valparaiso area if you want the European ones.

Hmm, they should be darker on average since the Chilean genetic average is apparently in the harnizoid range while Argentina should be in the castizoid range, so I’m surprised lol
