General opinion after getting back

1. Great beaches
2. Way more developed than other Caribbean countries, fewer dumpy areas, lots of nice ones
3. Way more White people living and working there than I expected
4. Roads are shit and have retardedly large speed bumps
5. The most popular goyslop is Dominos, which was decent
6. High quality groceries (bread, ham, cheese, wine, sardines, chocolate, etc.) - it's all imported from France
7. Everyone I talked to spoke English
8. Grocery prices are about the same as in Europe
9. Any quality restaurant has slow service, 1 or 2 cooks in the kitchen
10. It's hot and humid, not as hot as Bangkok but similar
11. The black people seemed more relaxed and there wasn't much homelessness/poverty
12. Hotel prices are high for what you can get elsewhere
