Unfortunately, thats what most traveling dudes are. Try meeting up with forum members and 9 out of 10 its a dude working at a minimum wage job who saved up for a 1 week trip. They end up doing p4p, never try learning the language or game, and eat at McDonald's or the Irish pub.

I'm always excited when I meet a long termer (English teacher, online businessman, NGO guy, etc.)
Shows they can at least plan and organize at a reasonable level...
