So i met up with this girl who looked really pretty on bumble. We planned to drink something and going to the arcade

Like she was on insta legit 8/10 for thai. So i met up in person and she is maybe a 4 ngl. I was shocked when i saw her for the first time.

Anyways we went to get some drinks becaise i traveled 20 minutes. Afyer 5 minites of talking she is trying to hold my hands and is really touchy. She even put my hands on het legs after 5 mins of first meeting up!!

Than she said i was handsome 3 times and then she confessed she was afraid i was not going to like her irl. So i said yeah you use a lot of filters. Then i said as a joke you are a catfish.

She took that really bad (as she should) and did almost not want to talk me anynore. So after saying it was a joke 3 times i asked her 3 open questions where she replied really dry on.

I said to her i think irs bad i go home and then i left.

a 4 frauded into an 8 is brutal.

and it will probably happen to you again. lots of women catfish unfortunately and it's just getting worse. they've been tricking with make-up for thousands of years already but now filters and AI are adding to it.

i had my share of it as well.

recently i had a date that only showed sunglasses photos taken from the front on her profile, but even with that she looked like 6+. and when she arrived? first of all she was at least 1,80m which is definitely something you should mention on your profile as a woman. and seeing her face from the side revealed that her jaws are really recessed. so all those photo tricks happened for a reason.

Next time i will leave even sooner. Somebody needs to make sure to these woman that it is not ok.

Fake up is one thing.

But using ai is next level. She looked like a kpop girl on her pictures and videos. Its crazy how good some girls can fraud with ai.

I feel like most the time you can tell they’re using filters? If they are using them I usually assume they’re a ladyboy and don’t meet them
But one thing you can do is video call them before the date, if they refuse usually it can be sus

Thats a good tip.

Yeah i could tell she used some kind of filters. But you never know how much filters/ai a girl really uses i think.

  1. Initial meeting shock (your comment about her being a “4” vs 8/10 online)
    • She probably felt nervous and self-conscious. Meeting someone in person after seeing them online can already be anxiety-inducing, and she might have sensed that you were judging her appearance.
  2. Being touchy and flirty quickly (holding hands, putting your hands on her legs)
    • This indicates she was interested and trying to establish intimacy quickly. She likely felt excited and attracted, but also possibly a little vulnerable because she had just met you.
  3. Complimenting you (“you’re handsome” 3 times) and confessing fear about your reaction
    • She was seeking reassurance. Saying you’re handsome and admitting fear you wouldn’t like her shows she was insecure and wanted validation.
  4. Your “catfish” joke
    • That was probably a shock and hurtful for her. Even if meant as a joke, it attacks her honesty and self-image, especially after she was being vulnerable. Her withdrawal and dry replies after that are classic defensive behavior.
✅ Overall feelings:

  • Initially excited and flirty, but also nervous and vulnerable.
  • Your catfish joke likely triggered hurt, embarrassment, and maybe a sense of rejection, which led her to shut down emotionally.
In short, she went from interested and affectionate → insecure → hurt and guarded in a very short time.
