It's a pretty sweet bugbox. Even has a window, and a washing machine, kek. Not sure why the loser in the video makes such a big deal about cooking in the place. That's how the apartment and whole building gets to stinking of sour stale food smells.
Some weeb fags on /trv/ were saying that Japan has very affordable food with the weak yen, better value than Bangkok supposedly. Of course this weeb went far enough as to say Japan beat Thailand in value for cost, which is clearly bullshit...but if the low restaurant prices part is true, why the hell would you cook and eat in your room like a total loser?
That's not too bad. A hotel bugbox here in KL starts at $130/month, usually has a desk but no window, and cooking in the room is banned to keep the place smelling fresh and free of roaches.
There are no bugboxes in America, apart from parts of NYC, and they rent for well below the $3-4K median, so they all have a long waiting list. Los Angeles is a sprawling city, only a few districts like Chinatown are cramped but only Chinese live there.
