News kdramas and taiwanese dramas mog anime

you take a good revenge kdrama and it will absolutely mog most anime. the reason the world has not yet come to this realization is because these shows have only recently started to get popular compared to anime which has been popular for the past 30-35 years. taiwan is also on that shi but theirs are still only popular within asia as far as i know

japan is absolutely garbage at producing tv series with actual humans (it's a stretch calling japs human but you catch my drift). there's a handful of decent movies that have come out of japan within the past 10 years and most of them are from maybe 3 directors

japan does in fact destroy the rest of asia when it comes to literature though which i will concede

I dunno k drams seem pretty cringe to me for the most part, never watched t dramas but might give them a shot.

A lot of the classics from the golden age of anime (90s to early 10s) hold up pretty well as I've started watching/rewatching some of them.
The modern stuff I've tried that came out in the last decade and a half is mostly trash and I immediately drop it most of the time. I can't stand the wimpy limp dick cookie cutter protagonists that have no clue how to game bitches or that have 0 personlity traits or growth that are prominent in these shows and are even in some of the better ones from the 00s.
It become mainstream around that time and is probably related to the rise of herbivore men around then. So on that front I agree that a lot of them suck.

Ngl watching the crappier stuff when i was younger kind of screwed with my psyche which is part of the reason i was an incel till I went to China. I regret that time period of my life watching that junk cause had I put in more effort into better things instead of neeting like hitting the gym and learning better social skills earlier, I could have def got results in uni.

Also agree on the literature part, even some visual novels if you count them like Umineko mog.

you need to watch the high T crime and action ones

but yeah some of the older anime like claymore and van helsing are based
