Patriarchy & feminism tend to act the same way. They both want me to buy something for a female, like junky jewelry, otherwise she'll leave me. Traditionalism wants me to be the only one buying anything in the relationship, including that stupid wedding ring, while most of feminism still demands that I need to buy her that dumb ring. I'm never buying anything for anyone, especially not for a holiday or any other "special occasion". I'm also never wearing jewelry.
