according to some military measurements its the single easiest languge in he world if you dont start with the assumption that the learner is speaking a european language. according to the fsi measurement it should take about 1000 hours. but honestly that seems too high. if you are interested you should totally do it. it would be not at all a problem for someone that managed to get through japanese (and chinese too you said?) honestly it would probably even be fun. it would give you an excuse to be a lazy fuck and just watch tons of youtube.

as for import export, I wouldnt count on them letting you do anything like that. they recently put up tariffs against china despite the factthat unlike the west, china has signficantly leverage against them, and it's gonna wreck them. there are significant economic barriers in the country.
