I'm 20, will be 21 this July. I have no money, and I've never had a serious job.
I want to see places like Upstate New York or even move to a new place, but my only 2 family members live with me, and my 1 friend lives in this area. I can't afford to lose this friend, but I want to take this trip and dip my toes in traveling.

Thoughts? Advice? How can I get the money for the travel?

As for money the easy last resort is just to wageslave at a nearby restaurant. Simple and guaranteed to work.
