as i always use these 2 months visa exemptions last time i had problem entering, they took me to interrogation area with pakistani and chinese animals and some goofy ass immigration officer told me i gotta buy ticket back, so i bought random ticket to vietnam for 50 euro in couple of weeks

but i still got stamp allowing me to stay 2 months
you think they'd be angry if i dont go vietnam and stay 2 months again? i dont want get banned

This was one of the BKK airports right? Yeah, they're the strictest for doing multiple visa exempts close together.

I think next entry should be fine, but it will definitely get harder for you on visa exempts.

If Thailand is your base might be worth exploring the Elite visa or that new 5 year one.

Shit, they gave me a hard time for trying to get a second 60-day stamp in a 180 day time period, after 60 days out of the country.

What's wrong with going to Vietnam?

yeah bkk, will get dtv next time anyway but it takes couple of weeks and i have to apply for it being outside of thailand

They've gotten strict I woudnt risk on staying long or maybe it didn't get in system.
How could it not be in their system? Jfl. Your entire history of entries into Thailand is recorded in their system.

He's already got the 2 month stamp. The fuss of this visit was more of a warning. If he tries to re-enter into either of the bkk airports without a visa again, would be extremely risky.

That's why he's doing the right thing by getting the DTV sorted.
