Lots of Iranian immigrants in Japan. I think there is some kind of cooperation agreement between the two countries. This girl was half-Japanese half-Iranian, which is not rare, but she was actually born in Iran, which is rarer.

Tokyo is insanely diverse, and foreigners are usually pushed together socially. Your expat bar isn't just a bar for Western expats, but for people from Southeast/South/Central Asia. (Chinese and Koreans usually have their own establishments)
