I have this terrible habit of oversharing and saying suboptimal things to friends and family because I just can’t stop myself from trying to look cool, and intelligent.
But really, trying to flex or showing how smart you think you are is extreme retardation and will fuck your life up.

In relationships, you should aim to develop your practical intelligence and say the right things at the right time.
You might think it’s manipulation or calculation and yeah you would be right. But this is how life is. Even your parents would betray you or not love you as much if you chose your words badly.

Your mind is your mind. You should almost never speak it. Only in safe places. Because when you say words you can’t take them back.
So please refrain from acting like a smartass or letting your emotions make you say things like me.

It’s just so brutal to know that in this life you can never ever truly say what you want to say if you want good relationships.
It’s crazy to think that I am 2-3 bad conversations away from completely cutting ties with friends or family.

I was the same in my early 20s. Some people, when pressure is put on them, shut down and get quiet. Others like us start spewing things from the back of our minds when pressured. (Or the opposite, we ramble when we get comfortable). As you get older, you'll be more comfortable in your own body and your own situation and as your resting level of anxiety goes down your non-NT spewing will go down as well. You'll understand your own mind better and have a better gauge for what to say and when to say it.

Look forward to this, though: when a girl really likes you she'll be interested in whatever you have to say. Often after sex I'll ramble about all my weird interests and thoughts from my deranged machine gun of a brain. But because she likes me she's happy to be there and learn every weird corner of my mind. This kind of acceptance is one of the best parts of dating and I hope you'll enjoy it too. Also know that everyone is weird in their own ways and you'll surely experience non-NTness from girls who otherwise seem normie.
