if you have to take physical care of your parents in old age, your screwed.
or you like to fly ALOT

otherwise, being away from friends and family is hard.
But you only got one ticket on this ride, make it count. at the end, you dont' get to say "meh, i could have done it better, let me start over...." sorry. you dont' get a do over.

Part of the motivation is that if I don't do this NOW, it will only get harder, since my parents will get older and my responsibilities to family will only increase. Therefore, take advantage of this short period of time while your parents are young and your family is healthy!
