yes it sucks, i never saw the point of this lifestyle. getting wasted on weekends and during the week they cope by investing all of their energy into their kids until they're old.

i have a few friends who are some high iq outsiders who don't have kids, i can relate to that better.

especially sitting in an office for 40h a week for an average wage feels like jail. at some point i said fuck this shit it's not worth it because i felt like i had it worse than a jobless guy who is just living off state money. then i stayed jobless for about a year and then covid hit, remote jobs starting popping up i immediately took one. so i'm a wage slave again but at least it's easier to cope when not being jailed in the office.
