da nang was supposed to be my main destination this winter but now after 2 days i'm already rethinking the plan.

good weather, beach, cheap, decent city size. but the dating market seems really underwhelming.

most women are either conservative and want to marry before having sex or are some sort of golddigger. especially all of the staceys have turned into golddiggers who have their heads in the clouds. it's certainly worse for dating than guangzhou and even hanoi where i've just come from. it's kinda absurd considering they are living in a poor, noisy shithole country where the street food gives you diarrhea.

they have clearly been spoilt by the foreigners' presence and their money. i don't feel any exotic bonus here. it looks like this place has turned into another bali or phuket. i'm already annoying by all the tattoed hipsters and digital nomads.

such a downer. @kamster i can see now why you weren't really a fan of this place. not even the massages can hold up to thailand standards (why are they making me wear those cucked massage pants?).

@biggunsar i'm starting to think you have chosen the right route. it's probably about time for me to hit jakarta for the first time.

3 days. the main issue was that 90% of my hot matches had left the city to celebrate chinese new year with their families.

same shit in hanoi where they were celebrating "tet".

and now in da nang it's low season. i just walked around and it's pretty much dead on a saturday night.

i'm always in the wrong place at the wrong time.

but i will return to china around end of march, then it will be shenzhen. probably also HK but not for long because it's too expensive for me.

I hope you are right with all my heart and you are usually a very intelligent user so i trust your judgment, but keep in mind that even if normies don't use apps or don't try to pick up girls in clubs etc....you still lose some "exotic" factor that can really help you in getting better girls. Yeah, that wast the first thing I thought of. Firstly, the sheer size of China is classic because its population is at least 3x that of the USA, lol. And the urban population of Chongqing is like 23 million people, which is significantly more than even fucking Tokyo at 14 million or so in the urban center.
There are so many taboos and barriers to 'starting a life' in China especially outside of Shanghai tier locations that it'll filter out turbonormies until the end of time

I see it as more of a numerical disadvantage where the supply of local girls is skimmed off the top by foreign Chadlites. Out of the 3000 suitable girls you might have in your local dating pool, maybe 50-100 are now seeing other guys before you get the chance to get them out. Now you only have 2900-2950 to mess around with. It's fine. You can expand your dating pool to get it back up to the 3000 mark by going out more often, finding girls through more unique routes, etc.

Kind of like if you are a farmer with an infinite amount of land to farm. You wake up and the soil quality is lower than it was the previous day. You can still reap the same amount of wheat, you just have to till more land to make up for the decreased yield. I agree across the board, at the end of the day social media are partially (or more) responsible for the increasing of standards of western women as well, it's only logical that the same is happening in Asia, it's just that the starting point was so much better than the west (for a white guy) that it will take longer(i still think white turists presence in high numbers in China is not a good thing for us tho). But one has to wonder if there will be some political responses, we are driving toward a really shitty scenario for a large majority of guys (and funnily enough also girls) and i'm not really sure it is sustainable in the long run at the societal level
