I'm thinking of going on both strict, maybe for 3 weeks at a time each and settling finally which on works better for me.

I've been eating lots of meat recently. Over a pound of grass fed ground beef daily. I think the high iron content is starting to give me issues. I'm having signs of candida (like white tongue) and I'm having weird liver pains. My eyes have been blood shot for a while before even doing meat based but they haven't really gotten any better doing this diet.

I've noticed a lot of improvements though, I haven't got sick or got a cold at all this winter and I feel like I have more stable energy.
I think my digestion has been better and I have been a lot less bloated but I noticed when I burp that it tastes like iron which is kind of concerning and makes me think that I'm consuming too much iron and gives more credence to my candida theory.
I think if I'm going to go back to meat/animal based diet I'll try eating a lot more pork and some fish, you don't at all have to eat just beef but I really like beef and It kept things simple for me so that's why I was doing it. Also I've been having a bit of acne which again could be a candida symptom, or it could just be the blueberries I've been eating. Another benefit is how long I can go without eating, I never feel hunger or hunger pains really, when I get hungry I just feel like I could eat and I get a bit tired and fatigued, but it's nothing ravenous. I attribute this to either fat burning or what I think is more likely, proper nutrient levels have been restored finally.

Anyways, I had a big bowl of rice, black beans, corn, tomatoes, sour cream and a bit of steak bits today and drank some water kefir with it. I think I'm feeling a bit better having eaten that so I'll try to plan my next few meals then at some point experiment with both and also try a balanced approach.
