Are you guys just staying in these countries for short periods or long term? Do you make money online, or is it remote work?

Everyone says “just make money online bro” but no one really explains what they’re actually doing.

you could do resale to make the bare minimum like $500-1000 a month then get into a LTR with a girl who has a house or apartment and offer to chip in for things

Initially I planned to study on a scholarship in China (as I discussed in a previous post), but I got a SWE job offer I couldn't ignore, so instead I just spend ~6 months overseas per year via a combination of a lengthy PTO allowance and remote work policies. I'd obviously prefer to be in Asia on a western salary 100% of the time, but this is a lot better than nothing.
